Maybe I'm not the target audience for this book, but just having returned from Grenada, I found this book to be somewhat disappointing.In general the book is good if you want to read "about" Grenada. The book has lots of pictures and some pretty good background information on Grenada. However, for those actually visiting the island, the book was less then helpful. The tours appear more to be someone's description of what they saw as they haphazardly walked around town.Even worse, the "Eating Out" sections consisted of listing the restaurant with an approximate price range and cuisine, but no description at all as to whether it was in a good location, had good food, etc. The lodging section was just as bad with several descriptions being "11 rooms" or something similar. There were no maps to determine where the restaurants or hotels were and figure out if you're actually on the beach or are within "minutes" of the beach.Overall, this book is fine if you want some background information on Grenada. However, for the tourist or traveller, I'd recommend either "Grenada, St. Vincent & the Grenadines" by Lynne Sullivan, or the excellent Lonely Planet "Easter Caribbean", both of which are available on Amazon.
