My grandson and I are enjoying reading books about Batman the Lego Movie. As he is 3.5 years old, this book is too advanced for him to “read†to himself. I read it to him before lunch and naptime when he comes to our house each week.There are two other books (by another publisher) that he enjoys as well but this one is a favorite. Not only does he get a fun story read to him, once a week he also gets to place a sticker (included) in the book. We are careful not to cover up the words so I can read the story to him over and over and over again. When we run out of included stickers, I will pick up some extras to keep the fun going.The book is told from the perspective of The Joker. It follows the story line of the movie quite well but the language is geared for a child. There is a bit of a surprise at the end that gets my little one giggling each and every time we read the book.The illustrations are photographs based on scenes from the movie. I don't know if these are the toys available as there are more expressions on Joker's face than I have seen on the new mini-figures.
My two year old loves these lego batman books and they are so inexpensive so i don't mind if he is rough with them.
5 year old grandson loves it
