We have several "Outdoor Life" books. We hope to collect them all. The picture online does not show off what a nice book it is. The books have metal pieces on the corners that prevents the books from being damaged. There are color pictures for almost all the articles. The books are simple, well written and the content is interesting.

This is a really fun book and had a lot of interesting ideas for living "off the grid". There isn't a ton of detail for each topic, so you are kind of left on your own to figure out how to make it work for your individual situation. If you are looking for a detailed "how-to" book, then I would look elsewhere but it is full of great facts and would be a great starting point.

Great reading. I'm an architect andI have to say this book holds so much information that can be useful for sustainable design. The book itself has an amazing quality (paper, finishing, colour).

Great book for kids and adults alike. The illustrations add so much more to understanding the concepts presented throughout the book. Overall, I've added a ton of survival skills to my wilderness repertoire.

I haven't finished reading it yet but so far it's proven very useful.

enjoyed this book i think sometimes living off grid would be great and bet a lot of people would love to do this to

Such HIGH QUALITY!! I did not expect that! The book is so sturdy and will last a long time. Bought it as a gift for someone and I just know they are going to be thrilled!
