I'm currently in CRNA school and was recommended this book by an anesthesiologist. It is a fantastic resource. The book covers a wide variety of topics. Each chapter is only a few pages in length so it's easy to get a lot of new information very quickly or review things you need a refresher on. It has become invaluable to me in my studies and I rely on it a great deal. I've even recommended it to all my classmates. Whether you are just starting anesthesia school or getting near the end and looking at preparing for boards I would highly recommend this book.

It's nice to have this reference available as an e-book. It's so much easier to travel with it in that form, rather than having to carry the book, which is much heavier and bulkier than my iPad

Great review book. It is short and sweet and covers a whole chapter in 3-5 pages. It makes for an easy review. It also has colored pictures which I find attractive in a book. I would definitely recommend this book for reviewing what you've already read.

Good review for the board. Will require a significant commitment to finish it though. The book is smaller in size compared to regular texts but the font is smaller and there is of information packed in each chapter. Should work for oral boards as well.

This book saved our marriage. Seriously, a counselor could only give us the typical tools like "I statements," forgiveness, etc. but it wasn't helping. This book taught us to focus on the emotions we were expressing in a way that we gave each other love instead of pouring salt on our wounds. Now, we are in a renaissance, of sorts, very happy and treating each other with the love we need, like when we were newliweds, only better because of our history and experience. Very highly recommended.

I was skeptical at first when a colleague recommended this book. After all, there are so many approaches out there. What could be so transformative about this one? Highest praise for the in-depth research, the clarity of writing and the organization of the material with notes and index. Many thanks to the author who bridged an infirmation gap that needed to be filled. He handles the material with great respect. The movement is so rife with controversy, emotionalism, and incendiary language, that reading this book brings an urgently needed perspective. Gratitude to the author for carving years out of his life to write a vital history.

Informative and interesting ; the author provides a thorough and objective narrative of legal attempts to liberalize abortion law and the opposition to them in the 20th century.

Meticulously researched and well written, this book completely transformed the way I think about the abortion debate. Understanding the long history of the pro-life movement is, I believe, important for people on both sides of the issue. Its roots are deep in New Deal/Catholic liberalism. A fascinating history extremely well told. Most highly recommended.

This is, so far, an engrossing narrative. Williams tackles the subject with a good balance of factual evidence and first-hand testimony. My only fault with it so far is the author's use of "flaunt the law." How this got past an editor at Oxford University Press is a wonder to me. It goes beyond a mere typo (which would be bad enough).

OK, I know nothing about the mechanics of the automobile, well almost nothing, but this book is very interesting and incredible in it's detail. I am a HUGE Porsche 911 fan and it's very cool to read about the history and read the DNA on this amazing car. I loved the rich and beautiful pictures and it was cool that many of the cars were more of the modern type. I would not say this book focuses on the older models. Enjoyment for any 911 or Porsche fan !

I don't know what I was expecting but it is written more like product brochures than car reviews out of EVO.In fact I don't know if much of what is written about was driven or experienced and there aren't interviewswith many people.If you want a fact book you'll probably be happy. If you want a story I think you will be disappointed - despitethe title.
